Lenovo Yoga 920 Laptop

Lenovo Yoga 920 Laptop

Welcome to a Laptop Battery specialist of the Lenovo Laptop Battery

From the inside out, the Lenovo Yoga 920 with battery like Lenovo 01AV428 Battery, Lenovo SB10K97597 Battery, Lenovo Thinkpad T570 Battery, Lenovo Thinkpad P51S Battery, Lenovo 0C52861 Battery, Lenovo 0C52862 Battery, Lenovo 45N1160 Battery, Lenovo 45N1777 Battery, Lenovo 45N1761 Battery, Lenovo 45N1130 Battery, Lenovo ThinkPad X270 Battery, Lenovo ThinkPad W550S Battery is a masterpiece. Between the 8th-gen Intel processor and unique wristband hinge, not only does it deliver strong performance and great battery life, it's gorgeous to look at too. While we love the included stylus and redesigned keyboard, there were still a few shortcomings we had to come to terms with.

For one, the starting price for the base configuration is usually quite high. Though Lenovo's currently running a holiday sale, saving you a good chunk of change, the full MSRP price may deter those on a tight budget. The stylus also comes with a plastic holder that blocks the only 3.0 port. It's frustrating, for sure, but you can work around it. Aside from a couple of nitpicks, the Yoga 920 is an excellent 2-in-1.

The Yoga 920 is available in a couple of different configurations. The most expensive model ($1,999.99) is armed with 16GB of RAM, a 4K display, and up to 1TB PCIe SSD. We reviewed the entry-level version, which has an 8th-gen Intel processor and a full HD display. It also comes in platinum, bronze, and copper. Our loaner is the bronze model (it's gorgeous).

At full price, the base configuration will cost you $1,399.99. Luckily, Lenovo's currently running a holiday sale, so it's available for $1,149.99 on the Microsoft Store, which shaves off about $250. If you want to know more about the base configuration specs, you can check them out below:

CPU: Intel Core i7-8550U
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 620 with shared graphics memory
Memory: 8GB of RAM
Storage: 256GB SSD
Display: 13.9-inch full HD touchscreen
Ports: 2 Thunderbolt, 1 USB 3.0, 1 HDMI, audio/microphone jack
Weight: 3.02 lbs
Accessories: Active Pen 2

In our intensive PC Mark 8 test, the Yoga 920 hit the four-hour mark. That's not bad, especially with screen brightness set to 100%. However, in our WiFi browsing test, which continuously surfs the web, the 2-in-1 lost steam in about eight hours. I guess it really depends on how you plan on using the convertible.

For lighter tasks like browsing the Internet or binge-watching The Crown on Netflix (ahem, me), this 2-in-1 will definitely last a full work day. For more demanding tasks like video editing, you can expect it to fade out in a couple of hours. So, if you consider yourself a heavy user, maybe someone who regularly multitasks, you may want to keep the charger handy.

If you're willing to shell out the cash, the Yoga 920 is one of the best 2-in-1's in its class. With its excellent battery life, redesigned keyboard, and signature wristband hinge, this convertible is a work of art from the inside out. While there's a lot we love, like the bronze color scheme and included stylus, there were still a few drawbacks.

Under usual circumstances, the $1,399.99 starting price is steep, so I'd recommend taking advantage of Lenovo's holiday sale. You can get the base configuration for $1,149.99 on the Microsoft Store, which saves you about $250. My other gripe is with the plastic pen holder, as it blocks the 3.0 port and power button. It's annoying, but I don't consider it a deal-breaker.

If you can live without the bronze color scheme and unique wristband hinge, the New Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 is a great alternative. Not only does it have near-identical specs, it's about $300 less than the Yoga 920 (when it's at full price). But if you really love that swanky design and are working with a flexible budget, the Yoga 920 is the best of the best.

Samsung Notebook 9 Pen Reviews

Samsung Notebook 9 Pen Reviews

Welcome to a Laptop Battery specialist of the Acer Laptop Battery

Samsung is one of the most popular smartphone, TV, and appliance manufacturers in the world, so sometimes its laptops can feel like a bit of an afterthought. Fortunately, the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen is anything but. With its 8th Gen Intel processor, included stylus, wide variety of ports, And long time battery such as Samsung AA-PB9N4BL Battery, Samsung NP-RV410-CD1BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV411-CD1BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV411-CD5BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV415-BD2BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV415-BD5BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV415-CD2BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV415-CD3BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV419-CD1BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV420-AD4BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV420-CD2BR Battery, Samsung NP-RV415-CD1BR Battery, there's a lot to love.

But while this convertible does lots of things right, it's not flawless. Even though it's made of this awesome metal that's durable and as light as plastic—it looks and feels like a boring plastic machine. Battery life is below average as well, and the glossy screen is plagued with glare.

Our verdict? We feel there are better options out there. The Notebook 9 is great for travel because of its weight and size, but is it worth the money? Sadly, it comes up short in terms of value. The 13-inch HP Spectre x360, for example, costs several hundred dollars less and is just as powerful. It also has a more luxurious-looking design.

The Notebook 9 comes in just one configuration ($1,399). Armed with an Intel Core i7-8550U processor and 8GB of RAM, this 2-in-1 may not be an absolute beast in the performance department, but it's fast and perfect for multitasking.

While powerful internals are important, the real draw here is the convertible's lightweight body. Made of premium magnesium alloy (Metal 12), which is lighter than regular aluminum, it feels lighter than air.

CPU: Intel Core i7-8550U
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620
Display: 13.3-inch RealViewTouch FHD (1920 x 1080)
Memory: 8GB RAM
Storage: 256GB
Ports: USB-C, USB-A 3.0, HDMI, headphone jack, micro SD
Battery: 39Wh
Weight: 2.2 lbs
Stylus: Samsung (S) Pen

If you're looking for a speedy convertible for note-taking or doodling, the Notebook 9 is a good choice. With its 8th Gen Intel CPU, 8GB of RAM, and included stylus, this 2-in-1 has a lot to offer. The port selection is great too, as it eliminates the need for dongles. While we like the fast performance and lightweight stylus, we still had a few gripes with it.

The Notebook 9's design is bland and dated. That said, design is subjective, so if minimalism is your thing, then this 2-in-1 is right up your alley. In addition to the uninspiring look, the exterior feels more like plastic than metal, so we don't think it's as durable as the company claims. Battery life is short, too, so you'll want to keep the charger nearby, and the black, glossy display is rubbish in natural light.

If you're looking for an alternative option, we'd recommend the 13-inch HP Spectre x360. Not only does it have the same specs, it's less expensive and the design is more exciting. While the Notebook 9 is not without its flaws, we still think it's worth considering, as it does a lot of things right. If you travel a lot and need a really portable machine, you can't really do much better than this.

Acer Aspire E 15 review

Acer Aspire E 15 review

Welcome to a Laptop Battery specialist of the Acer Laptop Battery

It’s easy to get spoiled when you review notebook PCs for a living. Today’s premium machines have elegant designs, but they’re also expensive, and there’s a tendency to forget that many people simply can’t spend thousands of dollars on a PC. It’s good to spend some time with a budget notebook that’s priced well under $1,000, and one that strives to offer solid value rather than cater to those with the most money to spend.

The Acer Aspire E 15 is just such a notebook with battery like Acer AL15A32 Battery, Acer KT.00403.025 Battery, Acer E5-422 Battery, Acer E5-772 Battery, Acer F5-572 Battery, Acer V3-575 Battery, Acer Extensa 2510 Battery, Acer Extensa 2511 Battery, Acer Extensa 2520 Battery, Acer P258-M Battery, Acer P257-M Battery, Acer TravelMate P277-M Battery, aggressively priced at $600 for our review configuration. It packs in a 15.6-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 or X PPI) display, an eighth-generation Intel Core i5-8250U CPU, a discrete Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU, 8GB of RAM, a DVD-RW drive, and a 256GB SATA solid-state drive (SSD). You can drop down to 4GB of RAM, lose the discrete GPU, substitute a 1TB hard disk-drive (HDD), and spend as little as $350.

The Acer Aspire E 15 is a great example of a machine doing its intended job very well. It’s not a premium notebook and doesn’t pretend to be one; rather, Acer clearly aimed to provide a solid value, with performance, build quality, and battery life that leads the class for less money than you’d expect to pay. Taken all together, the Aspire E 15 is more notebook than you’d expect to receive for the money, and that’s a very good thing.

One of the more direct competitors to the Aspire E 15 is Acer’s own Aspire 5. That machine’s also a rather large and chunky 15.6-inch notebook that’s similarly priced and shares a similar build quality. It’s still mired in the past, though, and it costs the same $600 for a seventh-generation Core i5-7200U CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SATA SSD, and a Full HD display. You save on some thickness, but you also give up the DVD-RW drive. And you won’t see nearly the battery life, either.

Another interesting option is the Dell Inspiron 15 7577, a 15.6-inch budget gaming notebook that’s considerably pricier at $900 for a seventh-generation 45-watt Core i5-7300HQ CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SATA SSD, and a Full HD display. That extra $300 gets you a faster processor as well as much faster Nvidia GTX 1060 with Max-Q GPU that’s going to make for a much better gaming machine, but you’ll also want to take your power supply with you on the road.

One way to spend even less money is to go with a Chromebook. These notebooks are often less expensive than their Windows equivalents. However, it won’t run the same applications nor work as well when it’s not connected to the internet, and so whether it’s a viable option comes down to what you need your PC to do.

The Aspire E 15 is built well enough that you won’t worry about how long it lasts, particularly given the minimal investment. And it’s running the latest eighth-generation Intel CPU, with the ability to pop open the case and upgrade the RAM and storage yourself. It even has a USB-C port to provide some future-proof connectivity. If you run into problems, you’ll be covered by a one-year warranty.

Yes. You’re not likely to find a better machine in this price range. The Aspire E 15 would make a great notebook for just about anyone with typical computing needs, proving plenty of power and battery life for churning through productivity tasks, and just enough gaming performance to run most popular games.

Samsung Series 5 Chromebook Review

Samsung Series 5 Chromebook Review

Welcome to a Laptop Battery specialist of the Acer Laptop Battery

You watch all your TV through Netflix. Check your email through the Web. Pump out those pesky TPS reports in Google Docs. So why do you need anything but a browser, again?

Google says you don’t. The company’s custom-built Chrome OS sheds the pleasantries of Word, Photoshop and yes, even Solitaire in favor of just a browser. But with Internet service less than ubiquitous and many cloud-based services less than reliable, is a world ready for a machine that’s truly nothing but ‘net?

Limited capabilities aside, Chrome OS delivers on one pivotal promise of riding on a lightweight Gentoo Linux build: It boots lightning fast. Even with the same hardware as a netbook, our Series 5 Chromebook with battery such as Samsung AA-PBYN4AB Battery, Samsung AA-PLWN4AB Battery, Samsung BA43-00336A Battery, Samsung 530U3B Battery, Samsung 532U3X Battery, Samsung 540U3C Battery, Samsung NP530U3C Battery, Samsung NP532U3C Battery, Samsung NP535U3C Battery, Samsung NT530U3C Battery, Samsung NT535U3C Battery, Samsung 535U3X Battery went from cold to ready-to-surf in a little over 10 seconds, and booting up from sleep was instant: As soon as the lid is up, it’s ready to roll.

Despite the limited capabilities of an Atom processor, Web surfing isn’t able to present much of a problem. Your day-to-day page visits won’t seem any slower on a Chromebook than they will on a $2,000 notebook. That said, we did manage to bump into the limits of its capabilities in video playback: Even 480p video files sometimes refused to load or stuttered during playback, and anything hi-def (even 720p) played back too slowly to be acceptable. The same was true for HD footage captured from a Kodak Zi8 and transferred via USB, then played locally.

As with boot speeds, the Series 5 delivers on Google’s promise of better battery life by hitting a legitimate 8.5 hours of computing. Even with Wi-Fi on and brightness up, our Chromebook had no issues running for the entire workday on a single charge, which is an impressive feat for a notebook in this size range.

The Series 5 only has one tiny speaker embedded in each side, each with just three tiny slits for sound, but it manages sound far above what we would expect for a notebook this size. Sitting with it the wrong way can tend to muffle sound, but it holds its own on hard surfaces, delivering plenty of volume for TV shows and dialogue-driven movies, even if (like all laptop speakers) it’s too tinny for most music.

Is the world ready for a computer that relies entirely on the Internet for every function? We approached the first Chromebook full of optimism, but the answer is a definitive “no.” Samsung’s Series 5 comes with the price tag, weight and occasional unreliability of a true PC, but none of the power or flexibility. Even cloud pioneers who would gladly spend all day in Chrome on a Windows or Mac notebook will find Chrome OS’ lack of offline support dumbfounding and the notebook’s flaky Wi-Fi infuriating. Unless Google can vastly improve Chrome OS’ utility by adding more offline functionality and vendors can cheapen up their Chromebooks, Google’s cloud experiment remains a pipe dream.
