Asus laptops have maintained a fairly constant design, especially the Zenbook line, over its several iteration and the latest entrant with a brushed aluminum cover, but unlike the subtle concentric circles finish we saw in the ASUS F555LA-AB31, the K501UX sports a classy dark blue metallic cover with a hairline-textured finish.

The K501UX is outfitted with a sixth-generation (Skylake) 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-6500U processors (Turbo up to 3.1GHz), 8GB of system memory, and a discrete Nvidia GTX950M graphics card with 2GB DDR3 RAM.
